We love a good family day out and so I recently ventured to the sealife centre Birmingham with my boys, my friend and her two children, we always enjoy it there the staff are always so friendly and accommodating and the boys always enjoy looking at the marine life. This time though it was a trip with a twist this time it involved monsters!
Our first stop was visiting the penguins, gosh I love these especially Ginny, me and her… we are are besties! We touched the star fish in the rockpool and also had a look at the pretty coral.
We watched the stingrays be fed, and partied with the jelly fish.
We visited the creepy look ing snake turtle which always freaks me out but I love photographing it because it’s such a show off. We laughed at the otters as they played, such cheeky gorgeous looking animals.
And then… I came across a fish that apart from the seahorse is now probably my most favorite THE UNICORN FISH, yes it is actually called THE UNICORN fish I asked. I love it, I love it just look at it, it has a horn. Brilliant.
What’s even more exciting is currently at The Sealife Centre in Birmingham is running Moshi Monster Splash down until the 31st August 14′
Activities include the ‘Missing Moshling’ trail which we found fantastic you have to find the missing marine Moshlings hiding at SEA LIFE. You search the tanks and find the whole gang a and when you do you can unlock Lubber the Whimsical Whale (when you are at home) – the brand new Moshling, exclusive to SEA LIFE – yours to keep the next time you visit the MoshiMonsters.com! How cool is that 🙂 Very cool. We loved the trail obviously the boys love watching the marine life, but to find moshi monsters in there too! Woweee were they excited!
Not only that if you bring your spare or doubled Moshling collectable figures with you, you can visit the Swap Zone where you can exchange up to 6 Moshlings! (Swap rules apply). The Swap Zone is open every day but please check the posters on site for precise Swap Session times. The Swap Zone is located in the Otter classroom, just opposite the Otter Sanctuary.
You even have the chance to meet one of the Moshi Monsters. We were lucky to catch them as one was about to go on a break and so we managed to get in with 2. Whoop!
You could meet..
Buster – Meet Monstro City’s number one Moshling conservationist, Buster Bumblechops. The ultimate Moshling expert is in residence!
Katsuma – Say ‘hi’ to Katsuma, the clawsome king of the karate chop!
