Recently Andy and I adventured to The Symphony Hall in Birmingham to watch Miranda sings Live perform for her tour ‘miranda camp’.
The show was hilarious, crude, and awkwardly brilliant. We were surrounded by children with lipstick smudged over their faces and red high waisted trousers on.
This show definitely comes with a parental warning as one of the first songs actually had about her vagina, but the whole show was based on children seeing one thing and the dirty minded adults seeing what Miranda actually meant.
I feel my favourite part about the performance was when Colleen pulled out her lipstick, the audience absolutely lost themselves and it was a fabulous atmosphere.
Miranda camp was based of various badges you could accomplish and the audience were involved with people being pulled from the crowd. This is a one woman show and although she has a friend join her it really is all on Colleen.
All the silliness aside and with a twisted belief I think that Miranda/Colleen is actually a good role model. Showing the dark side of the internet with death threats and trolling those horrible trolls. How you should be appropriate and not ‘the porn’ and that haters can back off!
Colleen is a gorgeous singer which is shown in the last act where Miranda and Colleen are combined in a magic act. Miranda however, well singing is just one of her many talents!
If you or your teen are a youtuber loving Miranda Sings fan then definitely get your ticket and sing with her ‘Haters back off’
